One of the things I don't like about ironing clothes especially wool trousers and jackets is the shine the hot iron imparts to the cloth. How do you resolve this? They say that you have to take extra care in ironing this type of cloth. You have to use an extra cloth in between the material and the hot iron to avoid wool shine. In case you want to remove a wool shine, you could try dampening the area with cloth or sponge saturated with vinegar and iron it with the extra cloth in between.
